SASLEG-BSC-A01: Creation and Management of Service Oriented Processes in the domain of e-Government using an industrial unified software environment(Cordys)
Assignment: Software as Service (SaS) approach is a relatively new way for designing software systems. It allows these systems to be able to adapt to different environments and evolve according to the rapidly changing requirements. You will be provided with a software platform that is developed by the Cordys corporation (considered to be a leader in Business Process Management) and is widely used in the industry. This powerful tool will enable you to apply the SaS approach to designing and evaluating business and software processes based on real-life cases, such as an e-government software system. For the last few years, a rise has been observed in research activity in the e-Government field. Various new technologies have been introduced and even more are being currently researched and aimed to the future. This assignment is a rare opportunity for a student to experience the exciting possibilities this domain can offer supported by a fully operational industrial platform that has been successfully used for a large variety of applications (Such as the recent innovation of creating the Cordys Process Factory for Google Apps. Remark: Remark: Basic programming skills are required. Experience in process modeling is considered an added advantage.
