The projects for Chapter 3 are added, for convenience, in a single PDF document.

Projects Chapter 3

Prerequisites: These projects do require a good understanding of the basic OpenGL techniques described in Chapter 2. Furthermore, they do require an implicit good level of programming in C/C++, and a reasonable level of programming numerical algorithms.

Aims: The provided projects are intended to test the overall understanding of the student of the representation of sampled datasets by means of grids, sampled values, and interpolation functions. They also aim to expose the student to the various design and implementation decisions and challenges that balance efficiency, simplicity, generality, and effectiveness for the representation of sampled datasets.
