Research

Andre works towards a PhD degree on 3D shape processing, with a focus on shape reconstruction and shape inpainting. Techniques of choice to be studied include the utilization of medial shape descriptors, distance transforms, and feature transforms. He is supervised by prof. dr. Alex Telea.

His research is sponsored by the Brazilian National Counsel of Technological and Scientific Development (CNPq).
