About me

Nicola Strisciuglio was born in Nocera Inferiore, Salerno, Italy in 1987. He received the Ph.D. degree with distinctions (cum laude) in Computer Science from the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) in June 2016 (supervised by Prof. Mario Vento and Prof. Nicolai Petkov). He obtained the bachelor and master degrees, both cum laude, from the University of Salerno (Italy) in November 2009 and September 2012, respectively.

Currently, he is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Johann Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science (University of Groningen) in the Intelligent Systems group. He is appointed on the H2020 Trimbot project. His research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning, signal processing and computer vision.
