PARTICIPATION TO ORGANIZATIONS

(added 25/06/2008) - I am member of the Editorial Board of Transactions on Pattern Languages of Programming, a journal of the new Springer LNCS Transactions subline. The journal is an initiative of the community of Software Patterns and primarily publishes patterns, pattern collections and pattern languages.
(updated 26/06/2008) - I am a Member of ERCIM, the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics, which aims to foster collaborative work within the European research community and to increase co-operation with European industry. Leading research institutes from eighteen European countries are members of ERCIM. I am also a member of the Working Group SERENE: Software Engineering for REsilieNt systEms.
(added 30/09/2004) - I am member of Hillside Europe, a non-profit organisation that aims to support scientific and educational issues of information technology. Hillside Europe is mainly famous for work on patterns and is closely related to EuroPLOP, the annual European conference on patterns.
