In the context of the NWO Indo Dutch Science Industry Collaboration in Computer Science, the project on Next Generation Smart Data Centers has been admitted to financing. The goal of the project is to reduce the energy consumptions of data centers and develop a set of techniques that can be transferred to other industrial settings. Partners of the project are: the University of Groningen (coordinator), the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology in Hyderabad, Shell India Markets Private Ltd, and Cognizant Technology Solutions.
