Mathieu, Brian, Azkario, Ilche and Marco have been nominated for the Best Student Paper Award of the 7th International Conference on Smart Cities and Green ICT Systems for their paper Mining Sequential Patterns for Appliance Usage Prediction. The paper describes a method for mining sequential patterns using a modified support-pruned Markov Model for appliance usage predictions and appliance energy footprint predictions.
