Laura Fiorini has been nominated for the Van Swinderen prize!

Each year the KNG awards the van Swinderen prize to a PhD that, in the previous academic year, obtained their doctorate with the cum laude distinction within the Faculties of Science and Engineering or Medical Sciences. A total of four PhDs are nominated to compete for the Van Swinderen Prize. Each of the nominees will give a presentation about her or his research. On this basis, the KNG members choose the winner of the Van Swinderen Prize. This prize is € 2,500. The three other candidates each receive the second prize of € 1,000. In addition, there is a special jury prize of € 1,000 for the best Dutch summary of the thesis.
