Introduction to Scientific Computing

Bachelor, 1^st year

This course introduces the main concepts behind scientific computing. Attention is paid to sequence alignment algorithms, modelling and simulation of pattern formation, computing and imaging problems, computer tomography, (non)linear diffusion, particle simulation, and object classification via image analysis and machine learning.
