LVM space for virtual hosts

There's 73GB to use. Enough for a 10GB Puppetmaster and a couple of 5GB clients.

  1. Make /dev/sdb1 an LVM partition

  2. Initialize /dev/sdb1 as a physical LVM volume:

  3. Create a Volume Group 'vgvhosts'

  4. Creating Logical Volumes for the Virtual Hosts

Don't. When creating xen VMs, the command xen-create-image will create LVs as well.
