Fetching the software

We have both 32- and 64-bit PCs. So after acquiring a username/password from the Magma admins at , we surf to the Magma Download pages and fetch the following files:

magma.gen.exe.dyn.i386.gz
magma.amd64.exe.gz
magma.intel64.exe.gz
shared_complete.tar.gz

[Note]Note

This software won't work without a file magmapassfile, which has to be obtained from the Magma admins as well. More about that later.
