Traveling by air
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
Schiphol (Amsterdam airport) is the national airport of the Netherlands. Info on the airport and flights: www.schiphol.nl. Convenient intercity trains leaving 18 or 48 minutes past each hour provide a direct link between the airport and the city of Groningen (with a train leaving on :48, you have to change in Amersfoort). Tickets can be bought at a NS self-service ticket machine. Ticket offices are located in the main hall of the airport, and train schedules are displayed on large yellow boards. Traveling by train
