In 2012, Faris and Tuan Anh won the University of Groningen Green Mind Award with their plan to reduce energy consumption in the Bernoulliborg with the help of smart sensor networks that regulated the lighting and heat. They have now founded the company Sustainable Buildings, which helps clients to reduce energy consumption by up to 35%. Read more and watch their video here.
