How to reach us by car

From each direction follow Ring Groningen in the direction Bedum (from Assen, Hoogezand, and Delfzijl, first follow Ring Groningen in the direction Drachten). Leave the ring at the turn Zernikecomplex/Crematorium. After entering the Zernikecomplex, go straight on at the Zernikelaan (toward North). At the end of the drive you will find us at your right hand side, in the 5 stories building with the blue glass facade, the »Bernoulliborg«.

Note, however, that it is not permitted to continue straight after entering the Zernikecomplex campus and that parking is not generally permitted on the campus. Thus, take the second street on your right (Nijenborgh) after crossing ring street (not counting the ring street ramps; and depending on what direction you come from, you have to pass under the ring bridge or not) and continue toward the parking lot coming up on your left. For a guest permit for this parking lot you need to contact your host ahead of time. Alternatively, take the first street (Crematoriumlaan) on your right after crossing ring street and not counting the ring street ramps and continue to the free parking lot coming up on your right (this is a bit further to walk). Both parking lots are marked with a blue marker that is labeled with a »P« on the map above, while the first (official) one is marked with P5 on the map below:

From the parking lot you have to walk to our building (five story building with a blue glass facade), the »Bernoulliborg« (see the image on the right). In the middle and north sections of this building, on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors you will find the Research Institute of Mathematics and Computing Science (IWI), as well as the School of Computing & Cognition. The entrance to the building is marked with a blue marker with a yellow star on the map above.
